MMPG1000 Food Culture
    Student knows and understands the main factors affecting food consumption in different situations. He is familiar with alternative food networks (AFN)/urban food systems. He is familiar with international and local channels and organizations in food chain to communicate with consumer and knows how to use them. Student has the knowledge to run a qualitative research.
    In this course we take the perspective of consumers into food sector. Factors affecting consumer behavior in food consuming. We discuss about different trends in food consumption and nutrition. Food as an experience and lifestyle for consumer and how medias affects it. Global and local perspective how consumer affects the food chain. Get familiar with the organizations and channels available for consumer research and information.
    Lectures, group works, independent study based on experimental learning pedagogy.
