Online store terms & conditions
These terms and conditions are valid from 01.02.2013
Scope of application
These terms and conditions are complied with in the provision of online services of the customers of JAMK
Univeristy of Applied Sciences (business ID 1006550-2). We sell our services to individuals in Finland and
outside of Finland.
Description of the service
JAMK University of Applied Sciences offers online training and related services and materials (hereinafter
referred to as "Product" or "Products").
Ordering of Products
A product is mainly ordered via the internet at http://www.jamk.fi/english/education through the training
course shopping cart. Delivery costs may be added to the price of the Product. We reserve the right to
make changes.
All orders will be confirmed by e-mail, indicating the ordered products, their prices, as well as the training
cancellation policy. Receipt of order confirmation requires notification of the e-mail address when ordering.
With every order, the customer agrees to the existing terms and conditions.
The customer has the right to cancel this agreement by notifying the seller by e-mail thereof within
fourteen (14) days of receipt of confirmation of the order.
The customer does not, however, have the right of withdrawal if the question is the service, the provision
of which or electronic transmission of the product has been initiated before the withdrawal period has
expired. These include, for example, on-line courses, in which the customer hasimmediate access to after
ordering.
Payment service provider
Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service
Provider. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Plc will forward the payment
to the merchant. Paytrail Plc is an authorized Payment Institution. For reclamations, please contact the
website you made your payment to.

Methods of payment
Products and all associated costs will be paid when ordering. In the online store the following payment
methods can be used:
• Nordea Bank, OP-Pohjola Group, Danske Bank, Savings Banks, Nooa Savings Bank, POP Banks, Aktia,
Handelsbanken, the Bank of Åland and S-Bank
• credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and American Express
• a Paytrail account
• Paypal
The payments are made at the Paytrail Plc website. JAMK University of Applied Sciences only works with
the marketer of products and services and will deliver the products to the buyer.
Online banking
Paytrail Plc (FI2122839) provides online banking related payment transfer services in co-operation with
Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the consumer, the service works exactly by way of traditional
online payments.
Payments by Paytrail account
When you pay using a Paytrail account, payment is made in the Paytrail service. In card payments made via
a Paytrail account, the contracting parties in the transaction are Paytrail and the cardholder.
Product delivery
The order confirmation emailed to the customer is proof of payment of the product ordered by the
customer and the customer must preserve it. No other receipt is sent to the customer.
Change
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions. Before placing an order, the customer must read
the current valid terms and conditions.
