Description
    This Bachelor's level course is offered by JAMK School of Health and Social Studies and it provides students knowledge of the physiological and mental impacts of nature.

The students get familiar with the theoretical background of nature impacts and benefits and learn the basics of adventure education. They also learn to use and apply practical tools in different nature environments to support physical and mental health in rehabilitation, social work, and health care sectors.

Goal
    The students
- know the physiological and psychological impacts of nature
- know the theoretical backgrounds of nature impacts and benefits for health and wellbeing
- know the basics about adventure education and use of adventure in rehabilitation, social work, and health care sectors
- are able to use and apply meaningful and goal-oriented practical tools in different natural environments to support physical and mental health in rehabilitation, social work, and health care sectors
