    The student knows the principles of planning a company's export policy and understands the logic behind export plan and market research.
Tavoite
    The student has an understanding of the European Union as a whole and can describe the planning process of export operations and the main aspects of the export strategy. He/she can acquire market information and prepare a market analysis of a given EU country and evaluate its potentials as a target market from the viewpoint of a specific field or company.
Sisältö
    The EU as an internal market, the role of market analysis in planning export operations, acquiring market information, methods used in the evaluation of potential markets and how to design a market analysis, the European consumer and retail trade.
