Tavoite		The student understands and knows how to use basic phrases in everyday situations. He/she is able to tell about himself/herself, his/her family, and leisure activities. Additionally, the student is introduced to the typical features of the Finnish way of life.
Sisältö		The course contents include • the basics of Finnish phonetics, • numbers, • greetings, • telling about oneself, one's family, and leisure activities, • basic phrases related to shopping, • elements of Finnish communication culture, • language learning strategies, and • features of Finnish culture and way of life.
Toteutus		Contact, online or multimodal teaching, or their combination.
Kirjallisuus		All material is provided by the course lecturer and made available via the Optima learning environment.
