Tavoite		The course reflects the trend of marketing operations across many countries. It offers extensive case analysis from all parts of the world, with special emphasis on emerging economy markets and their strategic implications for marketing. It provides overview of how Global marketing works, Global marketing planning process, sales strategies along with cases, which illustrate the theory by showing practical applications. During the course the students develop essential skills in oral communication, written presentation, team-building, as well as analytical skills . After the course, participants should be able to: - Understand principle concepts and techniques related to the Global Marketing and Sales strategy of firms. - Identify and process relevant source material in the area of the course, providing different perspectives on the content matter, critically review academic literature and other information source. - Identify major trends shaping world markets and forces leading firms to globalise their operations. - Understand the dynamics of global business environment and present constructive solutions to complex problems in global business contexts - Understand various strategic modes to enter global markets, including emerging markets.
Sisältö		The course content includes (but not limited) to the following: - Principal concepts of Global Marketing, major global trends and forces forcing firms to globalise their operations,developing approaches to Global Market and Global sales strategy. - Emphasis is also place on Strategies in Emerging Markets.
Suoritustapa		Pre- assignment, Intensive lectures, in-class discussions and case analyses, self-studies, workshop. Further details provided on first contact lesson.
